Farming Practices: Organic, Sustainable
There is something no-nonsense and straightforward about Foillard’s wine. It seems to say, let’s cut straight to deliciousness. Deliciousness with class. It has a wonderful texture going down. The finesse from start to finish seems almost offhanded. - Kermit Lynch
Crafting Gamay in a Burgundian style, Jean Foillard’s Morgons are deep, structured, and complex, with a velvety lushness that makes them irresistible. The Côte du Py is made with selective hand harvesting and traditional whole cluster fermentation lasting 3-4 weeks. After aging in used oak barrels for 6-9 months, the wine is bottled unfiltered with no added sulfur. Vibrant, lively, and seriously delicious!
