Grapes: Listán Prieto, Listán Blanco
This is almost half and half Listán Prieto and Listán Blanco, a unique co-ferment of red and white grapes from very old untrained vines that are essentially growing wild. The grapes come from a miniscule plot measuring only .15ha at very high altitude (1000-1200m). This is one of only a few bottlings in the Envínate range that are bottled completely without sulfur. Due to the high elevation of the vineyards, this wine has much less Atlantic, oceanic character to it than the other Tenerife wines, and offers a highly ethereal quality and an attractive gaminess to compliment its cherry red fruit.
