This red is 90% Listán Prieto, a native red grape genetically identical to the Chilean País, along with Listán Blanco and Tintilla. The Listán Prieto comes from the same vineyards as the “Benje” Blanco where the farming is extremely traditional. Bottled like all Envínate wines: unfined, unfiltered, and only a touch of sulfur, this is an extremely cool opportunity to taste wine from a rare Canary variety.
