Tasting Notes: strawberry, cherry, hint of lemon, stone
Damien Coquelet bottled his first vintage, 2007, at just 20 years of age. Damien learned everything from his step-father, Georges Descombes. Ever since he was a child he instilled the same values as his step-father when it comes to wine making: organic viticulture, hand harvesting, native yeasts, zero intervention in the cellar and little if any sulfuring when bottling. This wine is a medium-bodied Morgon with strawberry and cherry aromas and a hint of lemon and stone.
